About Me

My name is Sara Whitney and I am a queer, white, Jewish, able-bodied, cis-gender mom and wife with ADHD who was raised on the stolen ancestral lands of the Squaxin Island people, colonially known as Olympia, WA. My interest in becoming a relational therapist stems from my own experience with couple’s therapy as a client and seeing the wonders it did for my personal growth and the growth in my relationship. I have a deep belief that individual and relational therapy can be life changing and I understand that the therapy process can be daunting and requires vulnerability, which can be a big ask for many. A central goal of our work together is to create a safe and empowering space for you to grow within yourself and within your relationship(s).

It is my life long work to be aware of my power and privileges as a cis-gender, white, woman and deconstructing the oppressive systems that I have participated in and continue to participate in.

In my free time, I am typically found chasing my toddler, toodling in the garden, riding bikes or spending time with friends and family.
